Vintage Go Kart Rupp A-Bone Kart
This was a new build out of Robron a few years ago , it was built by the original builder on the original jig using original techniques. It has been powder coated Bay Blue(was the color I found that gave me that vintage feel.
I have a lot of the gathering done, it has a set of used spindles , new pedals, new brake rod, new throttle rod and hardware, new engine plates with bearings new steering shaft w/hub, used tie rods(personally I'd build new ones to match)
The wheels are originals, they were gently soda blasted and then cerekoted to match the color that they were after soda blasting, the rings were sent out to a plating shop and were coated in nickel as they said that was the original finish. These are possibly the nicest you'll find.
I had intentions of finishing this thing up(not far out from being a roller( tires, tubes, bearings for wheels, axle is all needed to make it a roller) but I moved and been just sitting wrapped up in a closet for 1.5 years at this point.
If you have questions let me know prior to bidding. I will Ship at your expense and will build a crate for it but will need some time(a week or two) to gather supplies and get it built. I also drive to Fort Worth pretty often if you'd rather pick it up there.
